Clare Jordan who launched CJ Bookkeeping as a sole trader back in 2007 is set to expand and move into new offices.
CJ Bookkeeping was launched in 2007 by Clare Jordan, following the birth of her child – her daughter Aimee. Clare decided to leave her old job following a meeting at the end of her maternity leave. ‘I was a bit lost and I didn’t know what to do, but knew I needed more flexibility which I knew would only come by working for myself’.
Clare decided to do something new and studied to be a bookkeeper with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. Qualifying within nine months, Clare started her new career in August 2007, working from home, and soon had a strong list of clients.
Clare has now reached the point where she is so busy she could either start refusing work or grow the business.
Clare will therefore be moving into offices in Banbury in September 2015 with plans to grow her team to five staff.
Clare’s ambition is to grow a strong business which good honest and reliable staff, and to ensure her business can provide well for her family. “My philosophy is to never cap my income or my capabilities, keep on moving things forward and upwards – literally the sky is the limit!”
